REVIEWS

La Forza del Destino, Teatro Nacional de São Carlos – October 2019

Baritone Damiano Salerno was a top quality Don Carlo. Powerful voice, very pleasant tone and always tuned. For me the best singer of the night.

La Traviata – Grange Park Opera – dir Marcianò, regia Posner – 2014

Damiano Salerno Germont: His “Di Provenza” brimmed with passionate paternal yearning, and his repentance in the final scene was profoundly sad.

La Traviata – Grange Park Opera – dir Marcianò, regia Posner – 2014

The scene between Violetta and Giorgio Germont (Damiano Salerno) was one of the most beautifully sung accounts that I have heard in a long time.
